November 2, 2015. Our team of developers located in Vietnam and guided by the European Project Manager from our Minsk office have been deeply dedicated to solving these problems while working on the implementation of a long-term project in the innovative and growing space of healthcare analytics.
Elinext has developed an innovative platform to operate and analyze medical data from patients by different healthcare providers. The analytics tool is called Measure Builder and can be seamlessly integrated into any EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system.
Our US customer is a healthcare analytics solution provider with deep technology expertise in population health management, healthcare analytics and accountable care. The company is strongly committed to the mission of solving challenges in healthcare, such as increased reporting requirements and sharply growing volumes in order to take medical care to a new advanced level.
Mr. Gennady Sergeenko, project manager from Elinext, underlines that the Measure Builder Project is a result of proactive teamwork and cooperation with the technical specialists from the customer’s side. The developers feel “double” responsibility since it is a start-up company.
At the output of the project, we have a tool with access to medical data from multiple sources, integrated in one product, enabling healthcare providers to effectively drill down into the patient level Gaps In Care.
The Measure Builder analyzes the data and presents a unified view in a centralized dashboard. Technically speaking, smoother ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes and solid EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) together with analytics perform a proactive outreach and ensure accurate treatment prescriptions with due regard to medical research. It is important to note that the platform was designed to be easily operated by non-IT-specialists.
A business user can easily build added quality measures, including PQRS (Physician Quality Reporting System), ACO (Accountable Care Organization), and more. The healthcare software development also enabled users to filter patients by appointment date, location, provider name, or measure, and see the measure they’re responsible for. Attributed providers and their patients are listed with the ability to drill down and view how patients are ranked according to John Hopkins ACG risk stratification model so users can focus on high risk patients.
Elinext developers developed deep analytics as the core of the Measure Builder. The analysis dashboard allows users to find out what measures or providers require attention and get to the core of the problem.
The Measure Builder also has an unprecedentedly convenient intuitive user interface, which improves user experience and effectiveness of work. Mr. Kurt Lueck, states that “The Elinext team took good ideas that were on paper and made them come to life”. Mr. Lueck said, “we have not had a client demonstration where one of the positive feedback elements was around the amazing user interface (UI)”.
The project is of great value not only for the customer. Elinext has gained priceless experience and deeper expertise in big data processing, MDM (Master Data Management), complex user interfaces and multi component systems. “We are very grateful to our customer’s team for cooperation and timely feedback”, the project manager from Elinext says.
The success of the Measure Builder project has been gaining momentum due to effective communication of both parties. Following its principle of tailor-made software solutions for each client with respect to their requirements, the Vietnam team of developers from Elinext communicate with the customer on a daily basis. The communication lets them quickly grasp the client’s concepts and provide a rapid turnaround. This open and honest feedback of both the developers and technical specialists on the customer’s side has resulted in a rapid project development, which resulted in an effective product.
